Brunnings Sphagnum Moss is a natural, moisture-loving growing medium with excellent water-holding properties. Once rehydrated, it creates a soft, versatile fibre that’s perfect for orchids, staghorns, elkhorns and indoor plants.

Use it as a decorative top dressing, hanging basket liner or surface mulch to help reduce moisture loss through evaporation and keep plants hydrated for longer.

Rehydration: Place the compressed block in a large container, gradually add approximately 7L of water while breaking apart the block, then allow it to soak for 3–4 minutes. Drain excess water and separate the fibres until loose. Spread out to dry before use.
