Acmena smithii 'Sublime' is a hardy Australian native Lilly Pilly with vibrant lime-green new growth that gradually matures to a rich glossy green. Its dense evergreen foliage makes it an excellent choice for hedging, screening, privacy planting or as a feature tree.

During summer, it produces masses of fluffy white flowers, followed by attractive deep mauve edible berries that are loved by birds and can also be enjoyed fresh or made into jams.

'Sublime' is a tough, low-maintenance variety with excellent resistance to psyllids. It thrives in a wide range of conditions, including light frost, and grows well in everything from well-drained soils to heavy clay loams.

Planting Tips:
☀️ Full sun to part shade
Suitable for well-drained soils through to heavy clay loam
Water regularly while establishing, then only during extended dry periods
Feed with a slow-release native fertiliser in spring to encourage healthy new growth
✂️ Prune as desired to maintain a dense hedge or compact shape

Mature Size:
Up to 5m high × 2–3m wide (or easily maintained at a smaller size with regular pruning).
